JEE Advanced 2021 - Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the JEE Advanced 2021 exam date, eligibility, and conducting body during the live webinar on Twitter. He said that the JEE Advanced exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur in online mode on July 3. As per the request of students, JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility is the same as the previous year. i.e., 75% criteria in JEE Advanced eligibility is also relaxed. Candidates have to pass 12th class to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. Only those students who qualify for JEE Main 2021 and are ranked in the top 250000 candidates in order of merit can apply for JEE Advanced 2021.

JEE Advanced 2021 application form will be released by IIT Kharagpur in online mode tentatively in June. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam has two mandatory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2 formulated from JEE Advanced 2021 syllabus which will be released by the authorities. The JEE Advanced 2021 test will be conducted in two shifts. After the conclusion of the exam, the authorities will release the JEE Advanced answer key 2021 and response sheet on the official website. The result of the JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be announced in online mode. Candidates will also get the JEE Advanced 2021 analysis for both paper 1 & 2. 


JEE Advanced Architecture Test 2021, conducted for architecture admission in IITs. The exam authorities will announce the JEE Advanced AAT 2021 result on the official website only. Admission in IITs is through counselling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority also known as JoSAA. As per the previous year's JEE Advanced statistics released by IIT Delhi, 1,50,838 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2, out of which, 43,204 candidates qualified JEE Advanced exam (6707 female candidates).


What is JEE Advanced exam?


JEE Advanced 2021 is the exam for admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the 23 IITs of the country. . JEE Advanced exam is jointly organized by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. IIT, Kharagpur is acting as the conducting institute for JEE Advanced 2021


JEE Advanced eligibility criteria are the conditions that every candidate have to fulfil in order to be eligible for appearing in exam and admission process. The criteria of minimum 75% marks in class XII Board exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in class 12 examinations have been waived off. Candidates who are found ineligible will be disqualified for the admission. JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria have been listed out below:


Age Limit – General category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996. Relaxation of 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category.

Qualifying Examination – Should have passed class 12 examination in 2020 or those who are appearing for the exam in 2021 will also be eligible for JEE Advanced. 

JEE Main – The candidates should have qualified JEE Main examination and must be in top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit. The cutoff for admissions into IITs should also be met by the candidates

Number of Attempts – For JEE Advanced, the candidates would be able to attempt the examination two times in two consecutive years. 

IIT Admissions – The candidates should have never taken admission in an IIT irrespective of whether they continued the programme or not or just accepted the seat by reporting at the centre. The candidates who have earlier joined any IIT but had subsequently cancelled their admission will also not be termed eligible for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria 2021

There are certain conditions that every aspirant have to meet to attempt JEE Advanced AAT 2021. Firstly, the candidates should have attempted and qualified JEE Advanced 2021 examination. Currently, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee provide admissions into B.Arch courses, so the candidates would have to secure the required cutoff to have higher chances of admission.
